Table4Five said...: As a mother of three, this is my advice-new babies like to be swaddled. So swaddle the baby up tight, then hold him and sway back and forth, or bounce up and down, whatever the baby responds too. Sometimes you have to do that for a long time for it to work. Most babies have a "melt down time", when they just have to dump all of the new info they've been taking in all day. You just have to experiment with what works.
